Café Automatica

In the endless depths of space inhabited by multitudes of intelligent creatures, Ion is just a tiny dwarf planet nestled on the fringes of the universe. But there＇s an extraordinary tree growing here that＇s capable of generating energy, a universal green energy that neither depletes the planet nor causes any harm to anyone. This energy powers Café Automatica, a place where weary space travelers can grab a bite to eat. Ion belongs to Ian, a very sensible human teen who inherited the cafe. He＇s naively confident it that it won＇t take much more to get the place up and running like clockwork. Naturally, there＇s always something going wrong, and Ian would have a hard time of it if not for the help of the enterprising Agatha, a fellow teen who comes from one of the many other species in the inhabited universe. Agatha knows that "wrong" is the normal state of affairs. Taking advantage of the fact that Ion＇s laws declare twelve year-olds to be adults as long as they＇re within the planet＇s territory, Agatha escaped to Ion from her beloved dad to avoid the boring future he＇d already planned out for her. The rest of Ian＇s team are vintage robots. Above all, there＇s his childhood friend Nestor, whose AI resembles the human nervous system. Ion＇s staff also includes a grouchy robot cook named Chef and a cheerful four-armed waitress named Nipi. The team＇s pet is Cutlet, the octocat, an irresistibly adorable yet astonishingly destructive creature, inadvertently brought to Ion.
