Infamy

The series tells of how Emma Cruz (played by Susana Abaitua) is a determined lawyer in the midst of an existential crisis who becomes obsessed with an unsolved case: the disappearance of two girls some 20 years ago. What begins as professional curiosity soon spirals into a dangerous fixation, fuelled by her own trauma: the tragic death of her sister when they were kids, which she has always blamed herself for. In her determination to unearth unspeakable secrets, concealed behind the town’s stifling and claustrophobic facade, Emma will have to confront her most disturbing ghosts. Her tireless search will make her a target for those who are prepared to do whatever it takes to prevent the truth from coming to light.
